Why we built it
Why Trackovo Exists
Trackovo was founded by Prashant Laur, who runs construction and interior projects himself. It did not start as a software idea. It started with a site that was wearing everybody out.
The building was never the hard part
Concrete, brickwork and finishing we knew how to do. What drained us was everything around the work. The same questions came up every single day:
- How many workers actually came today, and for how many hours?
- Where did the material go after it reached site?
- Has this bill been paid already, and who approved it?
- Who said this work was finished?
Each question became a phone call, then an argument, then a late evening with registers and WhatsApp chats. Labour, material and payment problems pushed up the blood pressure of everyone in the company, from the owner to the site supervisor. There was too much pain and too much friction, everywhere.
The real problem was accountability
It was never one missing bag of cement or one wrong attendance entry. It was that nothing was recorded in one place with a name and a time against it. When nobody can be asked, nobody is accountable, and every problem lands on the owner's desk.
So we built what we needed on site
Trackovo keeps labour attendance, material, payments, daily progress and planning in one app. Every entry shows who made it, when, and the proof behind it. The site team updates from the phone, the office approves, and the owner sees the same numbers as everyone else.
The aim is simple: fewer arguments, fewer follow-up calls, and a clear answer to "who did this?" every time.
What we hold ourselves to
- Simple first. A supervisor should be able to use it on a phone without training days.
- A name on every entry. Who, when and proof, for material, money, labour and work done.
- Nothing we cannot show. If we say Trackovo does something, we will show it to you in a demo.
